Holiday observation will be held December 12th-17th. All parents, friends and family will be invited into the classroom to view their dancer's progress. This is a special day that the dancers work hard for so please be generous with your applause. Don't forget to bring your cameras!
Our recital will be held at Patriots Theater at The Trenton War Memorial in Trenton. The date for this year's recital will be Sat. June 9th. Every year we pick a fun theme and make our recital into a great show! We split the recital into four shows, 10:00 am, 1:00 pm, 3:30 pm and 6:00 pm. Your dancer's class will be in one of the four shows. Our shows run no longer than 90 minutes!
Non-Refundable Recital Fee- $125 per class- includes 5 tickets, costume and accessories and recital programs. The non-refundable recital fee is due by December 1st. We order all costumes the first week of December. Please let us know if you will not be participating in the recital. Costume companies will not let us cancel costumes. You will be charged a recital fee unless you let us know in writing by December 1st that you will not be participating.

Our dance programs are performance-based rather than competition-based. In addition to our holiday observation programs in December and our recital in June, we offer two additional opportunities for our dancers to perform: The Dance Factory Tour Team and The Showstopper Dance Company.
We encourage our dancers who have shown great potential in their dancing abilities along with a strong work ethic and a desire to reach to the next level in their dancing and performing to audition for Tour Team and the Showstopper Dance Company. Auditioning for these groups will encourage growth as a dancer, charisma as a performer and confidence as an individual.
The Showstopper Dance Company is a team of high-caliber, well-respected performers in 3rd grade and up. Showstoppers perform in all recital shows! We hold auditions for Jazz and Tap teams. Dancers may audition for both Tap and Jazz and participate in both if chosen.
The Dance Factory Tour Team is group of dancers in 3rd grade and up that rehearses and performs during the summer months and in December for the holidays. We offer two summer opportunities and one December opportunity. Our Summer Teams rehearse for one week and perform at local Nursing Homes, the VA Hospital and at a Somerset Patriots Game! In December we perform at local Nursing homes and the VA hospital. Dancers must audition or be recommended by an instructor. We offer Tap, Jazz, and Ballet auditions.

At The Dance Factory, each class is based on an age and subject level appropriate syllabus. Each year, in celebration of National Dance Week, we offer annual testing to evaluate each dancer's progress. This evaluation is based on the mastery of the skills on the class syllabus. Participation in this program is optional, but we find that preparing for and participating in this program reinforces material learned throughout the year. Many students and parents look forward to this program as an opportunity to evaluate their progress.
