Dance Factory Performance Opportunities

Our dance programs are performance-based rather than competition-based. In addition to our Holiday Observation week held during classes in December and our recital in June, we offer additional opportunities for our dancers to perform through The Dance Factory Summer Tour Team, The Dance Factory Holiday Tour Team, and the Showstopper Dance Company. Dance Factory dancers also perform at the Montgomery FunFest and Run With Rotary. We continue to look for performance options throughout the year and communicate these to the studio when available.

Dance Factory Tour Team

The 2024 Summer Tour Team performed at the Somerset Patriots baseball game on Friday, July 26th. Congratulations dancers on a wonderful pre-game performance on the field!

Information and dates for our 2025 Summer Tour Team will be released in early 2025.

The Dance Factory Tour Team was created in the summer of 2007 to allow our dancers to have an outlet to perform while giving back to the community. The Tour Team is a group of dancers that rehearses and performs during the summer months and in December for the holidays. 

Our summer team rehearses intensively for 4 days and perform at local nursing homes, community centers, and at a Somerset Patriots baseball game! In December we rehearse and perform a Holiday-themed production at local retirement homes and community centers. Our Tour Team dancers get to feel firsthand the dedication and hard work it takes to create, learn and perfect a dance in such a short time. They also benefit greatly from the joy that our dances bring to community members.

All dancers currently in 2nd grade or older and currently enrolled in a Jazz class are eligible to participate.

Showstopper Dance Company

The Showstopper Dance Company is a team of high-caliber, well-respected performers who perform in all recital shows! Dancers in the Intensive Program will be eligible to audition for the Showstopper Dance Company. Auditions are held in January.
